Happy New Year Friends!!!
Wow – Hard to believe it is 2025!! As we start this new year, I wanted to express my thanks and gratitude to you, my clients. My work is rewarding and satisfying because I get to educate and ultimately help you with something that can be confusing and overwhelming. So, thank you for being a loyal client!
I also want to express my gratitude to all of you who have referred your friends or family members to me. I appreciate your trust in my services.
As we experienced in the last two Annual Enrollment Periods, the Medicare world is constantly in motion, and this has especially affected Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug plans.
To help educate, share new information, and stay abreast of developments in the Medicare world, I plan to use my Social Media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube) on a regular basis. I will also continue to send my newsletter periodically. So, if you haven’t already, please follow me on Facebook, connect with me on LinkedIn and subscribe to my YouTube channel (just search for The Medicare Answer Guy).
Medicare Part B Premiums for 2025:
Each year the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) sets the Medicare Part B premium. In 2024 the Medicare Part B premium, the amount you either pay monthly or that is deducted from your Social Security check, was $174.70 for most people. In 2025 it will increase to $185 for most people (if your income is higher than the threshold of $106,000 for a single filer or $212,000 for married filing jointly, then that monthly premium will be higher).
Medicare Supplement Plan Deductible for 2025:
Medicare Supplement Plans G and N have an annual deductible. In 2024 that deductible was $240 and in 2025 it will increase to $257.
Please know that I am always here to help you with your questions and concerns. You can go to my website, click on Contact and schedule a phone call.
On a personal note - it has been a fulfilling couple of months for my business but also in my personal life. I had a milestone birthday recently and was blessed to have all my kids, grandkids and bonus kids (Diana's boys 😄) with us to celebrate. God is good! With all that is changing in the world, He is our constant foundation. Blessings!!
